The Pressroom department is seeking a full-time, dependable press operator to work as part of a team during our night production operation. We are looking for an individual who wants to grow within our organization.
Applicants should have mechanical ability and basic computer knowledge. Candidates may be responsible for the operation and maintenance of offset press, pre-press and related equipment, to include printing of the daily newspaper and commercial work. Candidates will be responsible for newsprint handling, from unloading of trailers to preparing the newsprint rolls for use.
We are a fast-paced, 7 days a week operation. Shift hours may vary depending on print schedule, with days off on a rotating schedule.
