Summary:
A medical device packaging operator is a person who is responsible for the packaging of medical devices, such as implants, instruments, or diagnostic kits, in a sterile and compliant manner.
Responsibilities:
Perform a combination of assembly and test kit operations.
Inspect packaging materials and products to ensure they meet the specifications and quality standards.
Set up, operate, and monitor packaging machines, such as sealers, labelers, or printers.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the packaging machines or processes.
Perform quality checks on the packaged products, such as weight, seal integrity, or labeling accuracy.
Document and record the packaging operations, such as batch numbers, quantities, or defects.
Follow the standard operating procedures, good manufacturing practices, and safety regulations for the packaging of medical devices.
Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in packaging, manufacturing, or medical device industry a plus.
Ability to work in a clean room environment and wear protective clothing and equipment.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
Basic math, computer, and communication skills.
