We are seeking manufacturing Associates for the Rigger position in Saco, ME!
The Rigger is responsible for the production of basic splices, working independently to complete splicing tasks with precision. This role ensures quality, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards while performing splicing duties.
Essential Job Functions:
Reconcile and understand descriptions, bills of materials, and picture maintenance.
Read and execute splices according to technical drawings.
Perform basic splices, double braid splices, single braid splices, and Yale whiplock splices.
Properly tag, label, and package orders.
Maintain accurate records related to inventory, production, and scheduling.
Train personnel as directed.
Ensure splicer certification is maintained.
Perform general housekeeping (6S) tasks.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Previous splicing and rigging experience is a plus.
Strong time management skills.
Full finger and hand dexterity.
Ability to read technical drawings.
Ability to follow detailed operating instructions and perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
Ability to bend, stand, kneel, twist, pull, and work overhead.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
Comply with company quality assurance expectations and packaging requirements.
Must obtain and maintain splicer certification.
