Workshop Assistant
Full or Part time to start with opportunity for full time in the future, $16.00/hr. to start with opportunity for pay increase.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Preparation of materials for manufacturing process.
Cleaning and general maintenance of work areas and equipment.
Light manufacturing processes such as cutting, grinding, and drilling of steel.
Assembling and finishing forged steel products.
Other tasks as necessary.
We will train the right individual who:
Has an eye for detail.
Can work independently.
Is self-motivated.
Understands the value of our brand.
Is dedicated to reducing waste and maximizing productivity.
Is comfortable being trained on the safe use of the many tools of our trade.
Is comfortable working in a metal shop environment. (loud noises, fire, sparks, etc.)
Understands the importance of safety.
Metalworking experience a plus, but not necessary.
