General Description:

Support position with responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:

Open/Close marina store.

Daily dock walks to report accountability for boats, slip availability and condition of docks and boats.

Assist customers with docking and departures to include handling & tying lines.

Customer service and assistance at the store counter and by phone.

Regular dock monitoring & customer service for ice, beverages, dock carts, etc.

Cash register transactions to include daily batch-out.

Fuel dock transactions.

Summer slip requests.

Transient reservations.

Summer storage on land quotes.

Clean and stock coffee area.

Stock coolers and vending machines.

Assist customers with pump-out.

Light dock maintenance.

Light administrative duties.

Use the VHF and radio.

Special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

Assists other departments when necessary.

Job Skill Requirements:

Must be 18 or over with a valid driver’s license.

Ability to read written instructions and hear oral instructions.

Unlimited or unimpaired ability to walk, bend, stoop, climb, lift 25 lbs and work safely on a ladder or around water.

Ability to work independently, with an eye for detail. Must be trustworthy and dependable with a solid work ethic and organizational skills.

Experience with boats is a plus.

Education Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
