Job Title: Remote Property Manager

Location: Houlton, Maine (On Site)
Compensation: $275/month + $15/hour for overtime + ATV Reimbursement
We are seeking a responsible and dedicated Property Manager to oversee a large parcel of rural land near Houlton, Maine.
This beautiful and secluded property requires an individual comfortable working independently and navigating wooded terrain.
Responsibilities:
Property Monitoring: Conduct bi-monthly site visits to assess the property's condition, document any changes (photographs required), and report observations to the owners.
Security: Monitor for and address any unauthorized activities such as poaching, illegal logging, or trespassing.
Contractor Management: Occasionally meet with and supervise contractors and arborists, ensuring project work aligns with provided plans.
Reporting: Submit detailed reports on vegetation growth, property access, wildlife activity, and any signs of unauthorized use.
Land Management: Collaborate with local workers or contractors for tasks like brush burning and log stacking.
May involve supervised controlled burns.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in property management, land stewardship, or a related field.
Self-Reliance: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Physical Capabilities: Must be able to navigate and traverse uneven, wooded terrain.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and coordinating with contractors.
Accessibility: Access to an ATV or snowmobile is strongly preferred due to the property's remote location.
Firearms: Must be comfortable and legally able to possess a firearm while on the property.
Valid Driver's License: Required for travel to the property.
