Rosemont Market & Bakery is a mission driven community market with a focus on connecting products from local farmers, growers and producers to customers in the greater Portland area. We buy and source high quality, unique products from Maine and away and over 60% of the sales in our markets come from products that are grown or produced in Maine.

The warehouse is an integral part of our supply chain and ensures that our markets have the product they need, when they need it. This role requires strong organization, accuracy and attention to detail, communication and people leadership skills. Responsibilities will include building and improving both business and people process.

In this position, you can expect to:

Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations including team supervision and training, workflow delegation, inventory maintenance and organization, and facility/vehicle upkeep.

Oversee all product care, storage, rotation, quality control and food safety standards.

Coordinate and manage all product receiving and delivery logistics.

Ensure quality of product and accuracy of orders.

Ensure warehouse operations meet the needs of each market.

Advance and enforce best practices for the department.

Collaborate with the Director of Retail Operations, Director of Production Operations, Purchasing Department and Retail Managers to improve company-wide order communication and fulfillment.

Improve efficiency of business and people process.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50 lbs. carton or bag frequently and for extended periods.

Ability to stay standing and active for duration of shift.

Ability to lift, twist, squat, and reach frequently and for extended periods.

Ability to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods of computer work.

Ability to drive a large vehicle and operate Warehouse equipment such as a pallet jack.

Location:

Based out of Rosemont Headquarters at 832 Stevens Ave in Portland Maine but will be required to drive company vehicles between HQ and all market locations.
