Guest Services/Waterfront Safety Liaison

We are seeking an assertive and friendly representative to assist with various roles in ticketing, guest services and waterfront safety. Candidate will alternate between various roles as needed.
Representative may serve in various roles within a day or week - serving as waterfront safety liaison at the Eastern Promenade boat ramp in Portland, Breakwater BugĀ Lighthouse in South Portland, and/or at our ticketing location on Commercial St.
Duties:
-Ticketing guests
-Sidewalk sales
-Providing tour information to potential guests
-Providing area recommendations
-Communicating ticketing information with operations manager, Captain and tour guide
-Maintaining accurate ticket counts
-Assisting with safely loading and unloading the Duck for tours
-Ensuring a positive guest experience
-Communicating with other boaters and Duck Captain along waterfront
Availability Requirements:
-Mid April (paid training) through October 23
-Weekends
-Availability for maximum 10am-6pm shift (shifts will vary)
- 4-5 days per week
Position Requirements:
-Reliable vehicle
Qualifications:
-Strong communications skills
-Waterfront and/or boating experience preferred but not required
-Customer service or related experience required
