Job Opportunity: Sound Engineers & Production Assistants
Location: Chocolate Church Arts Center – Bath, Maine
Type: Per-event / Contract / On-call
The Chocolate Church Arts Center is expanding its roster of technical professionals to support our growing slate of concerts, theatrical productions, and community events. We are currently seeking Sound Engineers and Production Assistants to join our team.
Sound Engineers
Responsibilities include:
- Operating and troubleshooting live sound equipment (mixers, microphones, monitors)
- Managing audio setup and breakdown for performances
- Collaborating with artists and staff to ensure high-quality sound production
Production Assistants
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with stage setup, lighting, and general event logistics
- Supporting artists and crew during performances
- Ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining backstage organization
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in live event production preferred
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Professional demeanor and reliability
