Perform preventive maintenance tasks on building systems, equipment, and machinery to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to identify issues and implement effective repairs.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests, staff, and management, and prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact on operations.
Maintain accurate records of inspection findings, maintenance activities, and equipment performance to facilitate tracking and reporting.
Respond promptly to emergency situations such as power outages, plumbing leaks, and other critical incidents, and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks and minimize disruptions to operations.
Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks to upkeep the appearance and functionality of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
Assist with renovations, remodeling projects, and equipment upgrades to enhance the overall guest experience and maintain the competitiveness of our property.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures related to maintenance operations.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and safety inspections.
Skills Required
Provide high-level customer service, communicate effectively with guests and team members, follow instructions, ability to learn quickly, pay attention to detail, and maintain composure when working under pressure
Technical
Solid experience performing repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundry equipment
General carpentry skills; knowledge and use of basic hand and power tools required
Experience / Education
Minimum 1 year of general building maintenance or equivalent in a trade profession; Vocational School Certification preferred.
