We own two old homes in Hallowell which need occasional handyman work. We can do it ourselves, but would like to transition to getting local support from a regular handyman prepared to work with us across a variety of projects and over a longer period of time.
We'd be prepared to pay a small retainer to keep us on the top of your list for service as projects come up.
We need someone who is not too far away from Hallowell to make it there/back in a day and who has experience with small plumbing jobs, carpentry and painting/painting prep inside and out, including ladder work, installing or replacing fixtures, diagnosing appliance issues or replacing an appliance or parts in it. You should have reliable transportation to be able to get between the properties and Home Depot and the ability to work with us by email and where needed live video call from your smartphone to discuss how to proceed with any emerging situation.
Our homes are occupied by tenants but we can arrange access for you as needed.
We currently have some exterior woodwork to do on one of our properties. If you need more work in the short term we can always come up with more.
