Lynch Landscaping, Inc. is a family-owned and locally operated landscaping company based in Norridgewock, Maine. We’re looking for a Hardscape Installation Crew Leader to join our landscaping team and turn outdoor visions into stunning realities!

What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead: Train and work with a hardworking crew to deliver high-quality hardscape projects.
Build: Work hands-on (and on equipment) with pavers, stone, and other materials to bring designs to life.
Manage: all hardscape-related tasks such as maintaining equipment, and working with suppliers and consultants for projects. Maintain productive, safe, and efficient working practices.
Deliver: Ensure every project exceeds client expectations and meets our high standards.
Who We're Looking For (Requirements):
Technical Skills: Proficiency with tools and equipment related to hardscaping, such as mini excavators, loaders, trucks and trailers, compactors, transits, etc. along with the ability to read and understand landscape architectural plans.
Proven Experience: At least 2+ years in hardscape installation (pavers, retaining walls, patios, walkways, outdoor living spaces).
Leadership Abilities: Previous experience leading a team or crew in a construction, landscaping, or hardscaping setting. Promote and maintain a healthy and safe work environment, and provide excellent customer service when communicating with customers.
- Very efficient in excavator operations digging, grading, backfilling
- Proficient with level laser and/or transit
- Basic operations of constructing a patio from start to finish.
MUST BE ABLE TO BE TOBACCO/NICOTINE-FREE FOR THE ENTIRE WORK DAY. Lynch Landscaping Inc. has a no-tolerance policy for any substances including nicotine, tobacco, drug, and alcohol.
MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE - Employees at Lynch Landscaping Inc. drive company trucks to job sites and suppliers.
Preferred, But Not Required:
Valid CDL (Class A)
CMHA Wall & Paver Certifications
Core & Vegetation Management License
Pay & Benefits:
- Work week is typically Monday through Friday, during spring some Saturdays are required.
- This position is paid hourly. Hours fluctuate during the season - During "in-season", this person will be working 50-60 hours a week. During the "off-season," it will be closer to 30-35 hours a week.
- Overtime pay kicks in after 40 hours a week. Overtime is paid out at time and a half normal wages.
- Paid holidays. Lynch Landscaping Inc. has paid holidays for: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
- Retirement with up to 3% Employer Match. After a year of employment, all full-time Lynch Landscaping Inc. employees are eligible for a simple IRA with an Employer Match of up to 3%
- Health Insurance. Lynch Landscaping offers health insurance after 60 days of employment.
