Hay Runner is looking for a new team member to join our woodshop in Rockport. Experience is great, but not required. We’re most interested in someone who’s eager to learn, takes pride in their work, and enjoys building things with their hands.
You’ll work alongside a talented and supportive crew crafting custom millwork, cabinetry, and furniture pieces that go into our residential and commercial projects across Maine. We’ll train the right person in all aspects of the work from basic shop tools to fine woodworking techniques, as long as you bring a good attitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to show up and learn.

An interest in woodworking, building, or fabrication
Reliable, hardworking, and safety-minded
Trainable and open to feedback
Comfortable working as part of a team
