In this role, you will be responsible for making critical and non-critical bio-reagents for use in product and manufacturing processes.Abbott Rapid Diagnostics (formerly Alere) is part of Abbott’s Diagnostics family of businesses, bringing together exceptional teams of experts and industry-leading technologies to support diagnostic testing which provides important information for treatment and management of diseases and other conditions.WHAT YOU’LL DOMaintains and supports production schedule
Investigates problem areas and areas of desirable improvement
Follows and supports SOP and document system
Able to perform technical procedures and use lab equipment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRINGREQUIREDBachelor’s degree (BA or BS) or equivalent combination of education and experience in science-related field.
Fundamental laboratory skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSFundamental classes in Biology, Immunology and Chemistry
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Independent thinking and creative problem solving
Experience in the following areas:
Pipette experience
Spectrophotometry
HPLC
pH Meters
Gel Electrophoresis
SDS Page
ELISA assays
