Northern Light Inland HospitalDepartment: Environmental ServicesPosition is located: Inland HospitalWork Type: PRNHours Per Week: VariableWork Schedule: VariableSummary:Cleans and services assigned building areas; moves furniture, equipment, hospital waste, and supplies in and around assigned areas. Works to ensure that the Hospital is clean and safe for patients, visitors and other employees.Responsibilities:

Dustmops, mops, buffs, strips, and waxes floors. Runs buffers, wet vacuums, and automatic floor scrubber

Vacuums and shampoos carpets and upholstery. Runs vacuums and carpet Extractor and spotter.

Washes walls, windows, light fixtures, and vents., as assigned

Must be able to work with germicidal and other cleaning detergents.

Changes cubicle and window curtains, as needed

Moves furniture as required.

Gathers trash and dirty linens, as needed or assigned

Sets up Conference Rooms for meetings, as needed

Must be able and willing to clean isolation rooms according to established guidelines, as needed

Must be able to follow established safety methods and procedures as outlined in organizational and department policies.

Must possess knowledge of cleaning techniques for each type of floor surface.

Must possess the ability to work independently and maintain productivity.
