The position would involve working with U.S. commercial and residential real estate data, analytics, modeling, interpretation, and include writing on the trends. This role also conducts proprietary forecasting of economic and real estate fundamentals, generating, and reviewing research, designing, and enhancing analytical tools, fostering client relationships, and ensuring that deadlines are met. This position requires interaction with several SitusAMC business lines, including marketing, asset management, servicing, valuation services, shared services and software development and communicates across all levels of the organization. This position also requires interaction with our external clients, including presenting and explaining our research and its results.Essential Job Functions:

Work closely and openly with the Senior Director, other Vice Presidents, and indirect reports to generate research and analytical solutions.

Analyze and interpret data to form conclusions on a wide variety of economic, political, real estate and general investment topics.

Create white papers, market reports, slide decks, and other bespoke research for clients.

Research property and market trends and assist in forecasting various economic and real estate fundamentals at a US, metro, and submarket level.

Communicate effectively with clients to foster relationships and meet their research and analytical needs.

Utilize in-house and third-party databases to identify, quantify and analyze trends across a variety of property types.

Work closely across business lines, including marketing, real estate lines of business, accounting, legal and IT.

Collaborate with other business lines to produce new product ideas and web applications.

Design and enhance current product offerings to increase revenue opportunities.

Identify opportunities in various commercial real estate markets by analyzing market dynamics, macroeconomic fundamentals, and emerging trends.

Work independently on projects and collaborate in a remote-work environment.

Manage workflow to produce on time deliveries.

Other activities as may be assigned by your manager.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in real estate, economics, finance, statistics, or another related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experienced professional with 5+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 1+ years in an Associate level role or external equivalent.

Knowledge of U.S. commercial real estate finance, U.S. residential real estate finance, appraisal, space market fundamentals and transaction concepts

Intimate understanding of data collection and interpretation

Familiarity with forecasting economic and real estate market concepts

Research, data analysis, technical writing and editing experience.

Experience with advanced Excel-based data models and tools.

Advanced written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, analytical and strategic thinking, and teamwork

Strong critical thinking ability

Ability to work in a collaborative environment across multiple offices and business lines.

High level of proficiency in MS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Word; experience with Tableau, SQL, or other data management/visualization programs preferred.

Special Requirements:

The employee may be required to report to a different local office as a normal, contemplated, and mandated incident of their employment
