We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Cook to participate in daily kitchen operations, prepare high-quality meals, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong culinary background and a heart for serving children.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
Comprehend and follow both verbal and written directions regarding food recipes, production orders, cooking instructions and techniques in to preparation of daily menus.
Produce, prepare and cook foods to include soups, sauces, salads, entrees, catering and all other items determined by the supervisor.
Station set – up prior to service with appropriate equipment and food to be determined by the supervisor.
Receive, unpack, date, rotate and stow deliveries.
Maintain a clean and safe work area via supervisor instruction and applicable health, safety and food handling regulations.
Provide excellent customer service in a courteous, helpful manner.
Have the ability to move objects up to approximately 35 lbs. to waist height.
This position may be called upon to perform other jobs as determined by the supervisor.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
