Our yard workers perform the following duties:
- Hauling, power washing, blocking and launching boats.
- Sanding and bottom painting boats.
- General labor around the boat yard including cleaning, changing anodes, trash duties, and general assistance with projects.
- Cleaning and waxing boats
- Assistance with equipment maintenance. Moving the travel lift, tractor and assistance with other heavy equipment.
Our yard workers have immediate room for growth. They learn the foundation of the skill sets that we complete on site and have the opportunity to move up within the organization after demonstrating their ability to listen, learn and execute daily operations.
Our ideal candidate will possess a valid driver’s license, the ability to learn in a fast-paced environment and the desire to be part of a team.
Must be able to :
- Lift and move 50 pounds solo
- Climb ladders and scaffolding
- Crouch below boats
- Communicate clearly in English
- Utilize technology for time entries into our time clock systems
- Be self-motivated
- Manage time expectations to complete tasks within budgetary guidelines
- Arrive on time on a daily basis.
