Semi-skilled Worker for Family-Owned Marina

Job Type: The position is full time and requires weekends and holidays, averaging a maximum of 40 hours a week – seasonal schedule, competitive pay with a great working environment. Semi-skilled Worker for Family-Owned Marina

Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Dependability is extremely important, and a key quality to this job.

Experience in the marine industry, and the ability to work efficiently without supervision.

Must be at least 21 years old.

A competent swimmer.

References Required. Must be willing and able to pass a background check.

License/Certification: Driver's License

Summary: Assist the Marina Operations Manager with Marina related projects & customer jobs, including but not limited to:

Operate heavy machinery such as a Marine fork lift and/or a Marine travel-lift.

Perform general maintenance and small repairs of Marina property.

Sand and bottom paint boats throughout the Spring and Summer season but not an excessive amount.

Assist customers with check-in/launch and haul-out of their boat to and from the boatel.

Ability to work safely and efficiently without supervision.

Greet customers in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.

Prior Marina experience is a plus.

Must be available to work weekends and holidays in season, and on call in emergencies.

Compensation: Compensation commensurate with experience. Hourly pay.

COVID-19 considerations: We've modified our procedures to incorporate disinfecting as per CDC guidelines.
