Independent Documentary Producer based in Annapolis is looking for a video production intern for two (2) or three (3) days a week to assist in editing for two independent PBS documentaries. This part-time internship will be 6 to 8 hours a week. Intern can primarily work remotely, but will need to work in the office in Annapolis a few hours a week.
Intern will assist in:
- Premiere Editing (organizing footage, stringing out footage, assisting the Director with film storyline)
- Social media posts about the films
- Assisting on location shoots for documentaries & corporate video clients
This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in learning about independent filmmaking and owning a small business. Producer will teach intern as he/she/they shadow her in a variety of tasks in the office and in the field. This is a unpaid position that can turn into a paid position for the right candidate. Intern may also have the opportunity to assist on videos for our nonprofit and corporate clients.
Must have experience with Adobe Premiere.
Must have basic knowledge of Adobe products
Must be comfortable with communicating via virtual meetings
