Seeking a full-time marine technician and shop hand for our industry leading boats and marine engines in the watersports industry. Marine mechanics experience preferred. Responsibilities would include:
Performing routine maintenance on inboard engines both at our dealership and at customer locations (work vehicle provided).
Diagnosing engine and boat issues then perform repairs.
Set up of new boats and pre-delivery inspections.
Complete warranty work.
Monitor parts inventory and report to Service Manager.
Demo and test drive boats.
Answering phones and helping customers.
Occasional cleaning of boats and shop during downtime.
This position requires some travel. On occasion we service customers a few hours away which is typically a long day trip, but could seldom be a few days. Travel expenses are paid and you're generally accompanied by the Service Manager. Training for certifications occur once a year and require a few days travel.
Candidates must be detail oriented and take pride in the work they do. Our customers expect top level service with honest interactions. If you do not have mechanical experience you must provide examples of being technical minded and equipped to work with tools in confined spaces. We ARE willing to train the right person. Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
The schedule is full-time Monday-Friday and sometimes requires longer hours during peak season. Please email resume with previous experience and salary history. We look forward to hearing from you.
