Port Annapolis Marina has an opening for an experienced marine welder/fabricator. We are looking for a hardworking individual who takes pride in their work, enjoys meeting challenges, embraces our customer’s expectations and wants a secure and rewarding place of employment. The candidate will have a background in stainless steel (SS), bronze and aluminum yacht welding and fabrication.
Skills And Duties
3+ years marine welding experience working on sailboats, powerboats, knowledge of boating practices and safety procedures
Perform TIG and other types of welding based on the project’s needs
Welding shop and on-site welding of SS, bronze and aluminum boat parts or structures
Read and interpret project plans, blueprints written instructions and diagrams to perform task at hand
Coordinate with service crew for efficient installations
Must have own transportation and ability to travel to jobs at nearby marinas
