ReCore Supply LLC is seeking a reliable, full/part-time non-CDL driver for 20-45 hours/week as a 1099 independent contractor. You’ll drive routes across Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and New Jersey, servicing our customers’ scrap metal needs.

This is not an employee position—you’ll have the freedom to set your own schedule, but the job demands accountability, safety, and a commitment to getting the job done right.

What You’ll Do:

- Safely drive a 19’-20’ stake body truck (yours or ours) on set routes.

- Load/unload scrap metal items (2-30 lbs each)—it’s labor-intensive but a solid daily workout.

- Track and report routes, materials, and fuel weekly.

- Service routes based on customer needs (every 2-3 weeks), with flexibility to adjust for seasonal changes.

Must Have:

- Clean driving record (no DWIs/DUIs—our insurance won’t budge).

- Ability to pass a federal background check (have no criminal history) for military base access.

- Current DOT card (or willingness to get one ASAP).

- Proven experience driving larger vehicles in tight spaces—no rookies.

- Honesty and work ethic

-Self-starters only; reckless driving, theft, or slacking ends the contract instantly.

Vehicle Options:

- Use your own truck (must be >10,000 GVW, UDOT licensed, and approved by us) to earn an additional per-mile rate, or lease ours for a route fee. Unsuitable trucks will not be permitted, and misrepresentation may result in termination.

The Deal:

Starting/ probation pay- Earn $75-$125 per route (based on duration), with a $25/route lease fee if using our truck. Routes typically take 4-6 hours, with a $10/hour bonus for any time beyond 4 hours (e.g., traffic or extra stops)

Route base pay increases with good work history as soon as a few weeks after probation period, the more reliable you are, and the harder you work- the more money you will make.

-Weekly Earnings: Full-time drivers can expect to earn $600-$725 per week to start (based on 5 routes), with potential for growth through bonuses and raises.

- Paid training for approx 2 days at $10/hour, contingent on completing 10 routes or 4 weeks of service.

- Possible bonuses for consistent performance on tough routes.

- Open-ended contract—ideal for steady work and growth, not a quick gig.

- Sign a standard subcontractor agreement (liability coverage—non-negotiable).

Who We Want:

Experienced drivers who take pride in their work and understand the responsibility of being an independent contractor. You’ll control your schedule, but the job demands reliability and safety. No cash handling; truck and materials are tracked—don’t test us on theft or reckless behavior.

To Apply:

Send a resume or detailed work/driving history. Tell us why you’re a fit and whether you plan to use your own truck (if applicable).

Schedule:

Flexible: 6-12 hour (approx) shifts, based on customer needs. Monday-Friday, you decide.

Location:

On the road, based approx 2 hours from Baltimore/ Annapolis area.

Note: This isn’t for everyone. If you can’t handle independence, safety, or responsibility, look elsewhere. Driver needed NOW—apply if you’re ready to step up!
