Kaizen Approach is currently looking to hire a Business Financial Professional (BFP) responsible for assisting in the execution of the Program’s Budget through the creation and maintenance of spend plans, requisitions, and their supporting documents. In this role, you will coordinate financial data with appropriate Government officials, such as Business Financial Managers, Program Managers, Contract Managers, Contracting Officers, and Contracting Specialists. Responsibilities include contributing to the maintenance of current resources to support day-to-day mission activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and resource allocation. Additionally, you will provide assistance in analyzing and developing improved financial policies, plans, methods, procedures, and systems while collaborating with various stakeholders to support project needs. Requirements:

Must have the ability to assist with the validation and completion of Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs) and support Government Business Contract Management Offices with End of Year activities and Actual data calls.

Must possess the ability to enter requisitions in the NSA’s financial management system, ensuring all necessary information and documentation (PSC#, PAR, SPAT, BER#, Acq Sec#, etc.) is included.

Must be able to create and maintain spend plans in the Agency’s financial management system to document Government-specified requirements and modify requisitions to comply with Contracting’s guidance for fund obligations.

Must have the ability to assist Government Program Managers (GPMs) in tracking requirements through execution and monitoring requisitions through the approval and certification process to their subsequent destination.

Must be able to pull financial reports/data from Agency systems such as FACTS, CMIS, EDSS, and CDW, while utilizing established NSA acquisition and financial management policies, procedures, regulations, and tools.

Must possess the ability to prepare financial status reports for Government Program and Business Management Offices, recommending funding sources, identifying funding shortfalls, and monitoring expenses against budgets.

Must have proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including creating formulas and pivot tables, and proficiency with PowerPoint, including importing Excel data into presentations.

Must have experience with NSA’s financial management system and its interfaces (currently FACTS and CMIS), though this is preferred. In lieu of a degree, must have Program Management Professional (PMP) certification, Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM), or DAWIA Level I in Business/Financial Management with three (3) years of directly related experience for a total of eleven (11) years of DoD/IC purchasing/finance experience or thirteen (13) years of combined DoD, IC, and commercial purchasing/finance experience. In lieu of certification, must have an additional two (2) years of directly related experience for a total of thirteen (13) years of DoD/IC purchasing/finance experience or fifteen (15) years of combined experience.

Must have eight (8) years of DoD, IC, or ten (10) years of combined DoD, IC, and commercial experience in purchasing or finance, along with a Bachelor’s Degree with a business focus. Must have experience in preparing reports that reflect program/project status in areas of cost, schedule, and performance, as well as experience in budget planning, preparation, and execution for acquisition programs.

Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.

Salary Range: A variety of factors can impact the final salary offered, including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant work experience, specialized skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

The expected salary range for this position is: $90,000.00 - $145,259.70
