Baltimore-based accounting firm seeks a full-time, Full Charge Bookkeeper with 5 or more years of experience. The preferred candidate should be regarded as a mature, trusted, responsible individual and self-starter who’s able to work independently. This position requires someone who can multi-task, enjoy working with numbers, organized, detail-oriented, sound analytical skills, a good work ethic, with strong written & verbal communication skills, a thorough knowledge of modern office practices & procedures, pays attention to details, and possesses a proven ability to perform a variety of full-charge bookkeeping duties.
The candidate must engage in handling an array of bookkeeping tasks utilizing QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Sage 50, and MS Excel to provide detailed general ledger postings, balance sheet reconciliations, creating complex spreadsheets, and assisting with various financial projects. An AA degree in accounting is a plus. Salary is commensurate with experience.
