Position: Experienced Tax Preparer
Location: Baltimore, MD
Type: Seasonal (January – July)
Responsibilities:
Prepare and file individual and business tax returns accurately and efficiently.
Communicate with clients to gather necessary documents and provide excellent customer service.
Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local tax laws.
Review financial records, such as income statements and documentation of expenditures.
Address client questions and resolve tax issues promptly.
Requirements:
Minimum one year of experience in tax preparation.
Proficiency in tax preparation software TaxSlayer Pro is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of current tax laws and regulations.
PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number) required.
