Making Art Matter, a leader in the paint-and-sip industry. We offer Glow in the Dark Sip and Paint classes and Neon Splatter Paint Classes. We are now looking for eager artist assistants to join our team and go through training. No experience is required but you do need an art background or have a passion for art and customer service. You will be responsible for confirming appointments, responding to inquiries and emails, keeping the space clean, setting up, and breaking down for the next party, cleaning materials, inventory checks, and creating cool video content. The ideal person for this job will have an outgoing personality, strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, positive attitude, and the ability to work quickly and energetically.
You must be located in Baltimore City to get this position, students and young adults are ideal candidates.
We are looking for part-time artists for Weekend, Day, and Evening shifts to staff our Downtown/ Inner Harbor location! We are looking for a team player who can jump in where needed and help the team succeed. Work shifts include mostly day and evening shifts on weekends and some day and evening shifts during the week. Must be able to work a minimum of 3 or more shifts per week.
Responsibilities include:
Cleaning materials and supplies
Inventory Check
Confirming all bookings and classes
Assist guests and staff member(s) to ensure smooth class flow and promote guest painting success through teamwork and a positive attitude.
Creating social media content
Thorough, accurate, and detailed setup and clean-up of the studio before and after classes.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Social Media Knowledge
Can lift 10 or more pounds
Basic computer skills (including Microsoft Word) and internet knowledge
Public Speaking and performance skills (comfortable speaking in front of a large group of people, who have diverse personalities)
Strong time management and communication skills (must always arrive to work on time & be able to manage class flow to ensure classes start and end on time)
Ability to follow & implement guidelines and instructions
Must be 18 or over

This is an ongoing part-time position with day shifts some evening shifts and weekend shifts. We only hire employees - no independent contractors, please. Strong starting hourly wage with bonuses, royalties, and room for advancement.
