We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Student Support professional to join our team at Connexions A Community Based Arts School. As a Student Support, you will play a vital role in providing essential guidance and resources to students throughout their academic journey. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives and contribute to the overall success of the school community.
Duties
- Provide academic and personal support to students, addressing any challenges or concerns they may be facing.
- Collaborate with faculty members, staff, and other support services to ensure that students receive comprehensive assistance.
- Develop and implement programs and initiatives to promote student engagement and retention.
- Educate students on campus resources, academic policies, and student rights and responsibilities.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions, referrals, and interventions.
- Participate in student success workshops, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
Qualifications
- Experience working with students in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of university policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Skills
- Experience working with students.
