Israel Henry Beren High School is an Orthodox Jewish high school located on a beautiful and sprawling campus in Pikesville, MD. Our students study a dual curriculum, with religious and Judaic studies in the morning and a general education in the afternoon.
This position is for English Language Arts classes in the afternoon for our 9th grade from 3:00-6:00 PM. The 9th grade is broken into four sections of approximately 15 students each. We are offering an annual salary of $28,000 for teaching these four sections. Our teachers come from diverse backgrounds and religions.
The ideal candidate has the skill to develop in their students the ability to read insightfully, think critically, and write skillfully. We are looking forward to hearing from you.
