Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a MEP Construction Inspector/Projects Coordinator in Columbia, and/or Hanover (BWI area), MD. The individual will be responsible for conducting site inspections, ensuring quality control, managing construction activities, and explicitly handling tasks related to asphalt. Daily activities include coordinating with project teams, assessing project progress, and identifying any discrepancies or issues to ensure project plans and specifications compliance.

We are seeking inspectors for Mechanical and electrical Building/Facility/Building Systems projects and the modernization of Elevators and Escalators.

Position Requirements

5-20 years of construction inspection experience

MUST HAVE 5 YEARS MINIMUM Construction Inspection EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma

Knowledge of State of Maryland regulations

Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and co-workers

Valid Driver’s License

Ability to work independently and in team settings

Experience with federal or public facility projects is beneficial

A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred

Highly Desired

Experience with Mechanical & Electrical projects

Experience with Modernization of Elevators & Escalators

Experience with Project Documentation and MDOT Systems

Experience with Building systems, facilities, and vertical projects

A Proven Track Record of Working with Construction Contractors and Governmental Agencies

Scheduling and Cost Estimating Experience on projects
