Looking for a qualified structural engineer to join the highway ancillary structures design team with the following qualifications:
1. Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in structural design and drafting.
2. Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering.
3. PE licensure is not required.
4. Proficiency in MicroStation (intermediate to advanced level).
Job Description:
Review shop drawings for various highway ancillary structures submitted by contractors, including: Break-away and non-break-away ground-mounted sign support systems, Low-level lighting poles and pedestrian poles, Transformer bases and various foundation types, Additional responsibilities as required. This role involves coordinating with other offices, suppliers, and contractors via email and phone. Candidates must be proactive in initiating and maintaining communication.
