You…Octo Consulting Group is seeking an Agile Coach and Transformation Consultant to join our growing team. In this role you will be responsible for planning, training, and coaching agile practice adoption across a large federal customer. This includes identifying transformation priorities, creating standards and processes, and developing/delivering workshops to support understanding and adoption. This mantra drives us to succeed and act as true partners in advancing our client’s missions.Program Mission…This program delivers a mix of Lean-Agile, DevSecOps, and Human-Centered Design (HCD) support including product management, user research, UI/UX design, and Agile facilitation support. You’ll join a team that embraces Lean-Agile / DevSecOps culture to promote innovation, measurement and continuous improvement, and high-quality support services deliver business value and outcomes to our customers and partners. Requirements· 5+ years of experience in Agile Delivery, Coaching and/or Training – Federal Agile Experience Preferred· One or more Expert-level Agile certification(s) - SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP) etc., or relevant expert-level experience· Experience transforming large, complex programs to Agile· Experience working with leadership to facilitate cultural transformation· Experience implementing and continually improving Agile principles and practices, and coaching the customer on the recommended approach· Strong written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to communicate solutions effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.· Technical understanding to connect technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences· Experience with data/analytics focused systems preferred· Innovative thinking – ability to learn new tools and techniques and apply them to the programYears of Experience: 10 years of professional experience (See “Requirements” for more details) Education: Bachelor’s degree (BS,BA) or equivalent experience, Advanced degree preferred. Location: Baltimore, MD and Remote Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust/Suitability, which includes a requirement of U.S. residency for three out of the last 5 years.
