AP Clerk - Treasury (Hybrid)

Resp & QualificationsPURPOSE:Timely identification and posting of daily cash receipts; work with billing areas to ensure premium payments are posted accurately and timely; running and emailing cash receipt reports daily to users; researching and responding to emails concerning payments requests; adherence to financial policies and procedures; assist with audit requests; participate in any testing required for system implementations and special projects; assists others on the team with workload; other duties as assigned by management.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Review daily report of cash receipts, posting payments to general ledger accounts accurately and in a timely manner.

Review report of premium payments to ensure accurate and timely application. Work with billing area by responding to requests and resolving issues.

Complete tasks assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:Education Level : High School Diploma or GED.Preferred Qualifications :Previous accounts payable experience.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles.

Knowledge of spreadsheets and appropriate software.
