Construction Administrator

Description:Actalent is looking for a Construction Administrator to perform the following duties and activities. Job Description:

Review CDs and answer RFI's with input from engineers and design staff as needed.

Review, approve, and comment upon contractor payment requests.

Develop cost estimates for construction change orders and provide review, commentary, and cost analysis of contractor change order proposals.

Review and comment on project Operation and Maintenance Manuals and ensure compliance with the project requirements.

Attendance at and participation in pre-solicitation meetings. This occasionally includes being the meeting leader and organizer on behalf of the client.

Assist contractors in interpreting contract documents to ensure adherence with design and construction requirements while monitoring contractors’ execution of project installations.

Review Test and Balance (TAB) reports.

Occasional overnight travel to project sites for meetings and/or inspections.
