Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Data Analyst in BALTIMORE, Maryland. In this role, you will be instrumental in implementing Power BI through report writing and will play a pivotal role in analyzing current and past trends in key performance indicators across all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures.Responsibilities: Implement and utilize a Business Intelligence Tool and create Dashboard reports Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives Monitor key performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance Support the Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis Prepare presentations for the Board of Directors and Senior Management Team Oversee and manage the development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan, and Modeling tools Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand return on investment in marketing programs, supplies, new store rollouts, and new projects Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required Maintain quarterly and monthly financial reports Requirements Proficiency in Data Mining Techniques Strong skills in Data Visualization Experience with Informatica software Familiarity with Maps API Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Experience with AB Testing Strong background in Analytics Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools Ability to produce Business Requirement Documents Experience in creating Dashboards Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI Knowledge of Power BI Experience with Tableau software Proficiency in Tableau Desktop Excellent report writing skills Experience in creating Activity Reports Ability to produce Ad Hoc Reporting Experience in creating Annual Reports Proficiency in Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT) Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
