Description We are seeking a Director of Finance in the private medical industry in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves overseeing the financial operations within the organization, including financial planning, financial reporting, and managing finance operations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing financial statements and utilizing analytical skills.Responsibilities: Oversee financial operations within the organization Manage financial planning and ensure the strategic financial goals of the organization are met Prepare accurate and timely financial statements Utilize analytical skills to assess financial performance and identify areas for improvement Manage financial reporting processes to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards Collaboratively work with internal and external stakeholders to achieve financial objectives Oversee the development and implementation of budgets Ensure adherence to auditing policies and procedures Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations Provide managerial oversight and operational oversight in the financial department. Requirements Must possess advanced knowledge and experience in Auditing Demonstrated ability to develop and implement Policies & Procedures Proven track record in Process Improvement within the Private Medical sector Significant experience in Operational Oversight, preferably in a healthcare setting Demonstrable Managerial Oversight skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; Master's degree or equivalent detail oriented certification (e.g., CPA) preferred Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably in the Private Medical industry Strong analytical, strategic planning, and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of an organization High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation Proficiency in using financial software and systems for analysis and reporting purposes Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
