A-Gas Americas is looking to hire a full-time Field Service Technician, to service the HVAC and specialty gas industries. Are you a people person who enjoys being out in the field? Job Purpose The Field Service Technicians are the frontline service leaders to all A-Gas Rapid Recovery customers in a geographic territory. This individual is responsible for job site service, preventative maintenance of equipment, refrigerant cylinder consolidation, and customer interaction. Projects range in size from single residential split systems to chilling systems operating on tens of thousands of pounds, to projects with thousands of units. Reports To Business Development Leader Key Responsibilities

Travel to assigned work sites daily to provide reclamation and recovery services of refrigerant and other specialty gas as required

Provide exceptional service and customer support to all customers

Find additional opportunities for service, gas buy-back, and refrigerant spot buy sales that help to meet or exceed territory targets

Submit daily work orders and weekly expense reporting timely

Provide proper c are for your assigned vehicle by keeping it clean, in presentable condition, and maintained according to the vehicle manual

Work in a safe manner, holding self and others accountable for safety standards

Other duties as assigned

Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED required

1-3 years related industry or mechanical experience preferred

Must hold state-issued driver's license, be at least 21 years old with a clean driving record

Must have the ability to work flexible hours, overtime may be required

C DL Class C with HazMat Endorsement preferred , or ability to obtain certifications within 90 days of employment

EPA Universal Certification preferred or the ability to obtain certification within 14 days of employment

Must possess the technical knowledge to perform the job and follow all safety procedures

Computer skills required with the a bility to type and utilize current technology

Strong written and verbal communication skill s, with the a bility to interact professionally with internal and external customers

Physical Demands

Must be able to work outside in the weather-related elements

A lot of time will be spent in the truck, driving

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk or hear

This position entails very heavy work which requires exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally (possibly up to 350 pounds), and/or in excess of 75 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force constantly to move/lift objects

  • Position Objective: Provide services as a Laboratory Technician Assistant in support of the overall functions of the National Institute on Aging (NIA) within the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Plans, executes, and arranges laboratory experiments, new techniques and procedures; and perform laboratory techniques relating to scientific research. Operate laboratory equipment; prepares specimens and equipment for use, performs minor/preventive maintenance; updates staff on equipment problems, all issues and requirements. Collect, prepare, and manage samples. Analyzes, documentation on procedures with detailed reporting for use by senior staff. Provides laboratory experience needed to order, maintain and sterilize laboratory supplies. Maintains the inventory of laboratory supplies and initiates purchase orders. Advises staff in performing routine laboratory tests and procedures.
