RequirementsLicensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted.

Nurse Aide credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or jobtransfer date, required.

Education:

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

  • Job Title: Maintenance Electrical Technician Location: Baltimore, Ohio 43105 Pay Rate: $35/hour Shift:7a-3p shift or 6a-6p Job Type: Direct Hire Job Summary: The Maintenance Electrical Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and servicing electrical and electronic systems, machinery, and controls within a manufacturing environment. They will support all production and physical plant equipment in the facility. Responsibilities: Perform all duties in a safe and collaborative manner, reporting any potentially dangerous conditions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately. Start up and shut down equipment following operation requirements, company safety procedures, and OSHA regulations. Utilize thorough knowledge of electrical theory, statutory codes, and principles of operation to perform tasks. Plan work procedures, identify replacement needs, and develop logical approaches to correct problems. Analyze circuits, wiring diagrams, and drawings to install, repair, calibrate, service, and replace electronic devices and systems. Dismantle, inspect, and replace electrical machinery, as well as defective electrical or mechanical parts. Lay out, assemble, install, test, repair, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, and wiring. Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits, equipment, and motors using appropriate tools and testing instruments. Troubleshoot and repair electric controls, motor control centers, and programmable logic controls. Examine work orders and communicate with equipment operators to detect equipment problems. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks such as checking, cleaning, or repairing equipment to detect and prevent problems. Maintain equipment logs recording performance problems, repairs, calibrations, or tests. Calibrate testing instruments and installed or repaired equipment to prescribed specifications. Promote and comply with good safety practices and habits, including the use of all PPE and ensuring guards and safety features are functional. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. Technical or professional certification strongly preferred, or completion of an appropriate apprenticeship program. 3+ years of experience and/or equivalent electrician training in industrial high voltage electrical maintenance. Skills and Requirements: Ability to install and maintain electrical systems and controls. Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently. Willingness and ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as requested. Completion of specific courses or demonstrated knowledge and skill acquired through job experience, including Basic Electrical Safety, Basic Industrial Safety, AC Circuits and Machinery, DC Circuits and Machinery, Electrical Troubleshooting, and National Electrical Code.
