OverviewThe Program Coordinator supports the seamless coordination and facilitation ofIntellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research Center (IDDRC) administrative systems and associated research projectsthat support the IDDRC’s strategic plan and specific aims as outlined by the present grant award and IDDRC Leadership/Administrative Core. The incumbentworks directly with Center Leadership, including IDDRC Directors (Co-Principal Investigators), Co-Director, Grants Manager, and Core Directors, andwill ensure program activities remain compliant with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) program guidelines for the IDDRC at Kennedy Krieger.Responsibilities

Provide support, coordination, and facilitation for Center administrative and organizational systems under the supervision and guidance of IDDRC Leadership and the Director, Translational Science Informatics.

Coordinate and facilitate all IDDRC recurring leadership, core, and unit meetings (e.g., Clinical Translational Core, Informatics Unit). Record meeting progress and action items to ensure proper documentation and ongoing productivity in accordance with the specific aims of the IDDRC grant cycle.

Ensure integrity of and input all data (including project tracking, application organization, and experience data management) to IDDRC databases in a timely and accurate manner. This includes tracking of compliance related to products that received support of the IDDRC grant (e.g., PubMed).

Assist with the administration and maintenance of the IDDRC Support Application Portal and related data. This will include applications related to general services requests, pilot project applications, and updating questionnaires related to supported projects.

Schedule, document, and track IDDRC consultations and navigational support across all cores.

Conduct regular check-ins with supported principal investigators (PIs) and Center Core Directors to assist with the allocation and updated tracking of Center resources/support.

Prepare reports (including graphs, tables, and written documentation) for IDDRC and Institute leadership as requested.

Collaborate and participate in outreach to other research programs throughout the Kennedy Krieger and Johns Hopkins communities, including preparing monthly updates for the Maryland Center for Developmental Disabilities (MCDD) newsletter.

Ensure that all internal and external IDDRC informational resources (e.g. Kennedy Krieger Institute external website, The Beacon, Association of University Centers on Disabilities websites, and NIH websites) are accurate, accessible, and comprehensive. Regularly work with contacts for respective resources as needed to provide content edits and/or updates.

Serve as the primary coordinator for the compilation of progress reports and competitive renewal applications. This includes working with the assigned Grants Manager and IDDRC leadership to organize, edit, and prepare key components of progress reports and applications in accordance with associated deadlines.

Assist the Director, Translational Science Informatics with the development and updating of systems and operating procedures for tracking, organization, and maintenance of all IDDRC data and reporting.

Administer and compile summary reports of experience questionnaires to supported investigators and other IDDRC collaborators in order to support data-informed quality improvement initiatives for ongoing IDDRC growth and refinement.

Provide assistance and administrative support to IDDRC leadership in support of the Center’s mission and values as needed.

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:Project Management certification preferred.EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in health business, public health, finance, or a related field required.

Coursework inresearch and/or project management preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum two years of research grant coordination experience required, to include research and/or grant management experience.

Experience with Qualtrics and Microsoft application suites preferred.
