Project Architect

Description:Actalent is seeking a talent Project Architect for one of our clients located in Towson, MD. This individual will assist on projects from initial design phases all the way through to construction administration utilizing Revit. The project types they work on include commercial, industrial, federal/local government, athletic facilities, healthcare, educational/institutional, and parks & recreation. Responsibilities:

Understands each project’s challenges/opportunities and devise creative strategies for completing the work that meets and exceeds the client’s expectations

During design and contract document phases, assist the Project Manager by carrying out design tasks associated with major sub-systems of a project.

Provide technical assistance to develop, coordinate and review construction documents

Conduct in-depth research on various technologies, evolving trends and systems associated with the project

Prepare graphic material and design for studies and/or presentations for the client

Collaborate with internal/external project teams and engineers

Carry out assignments with minimal supervision

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design is preferred. Alternative educational backgrounds may include associate degree in Computer Aided Design with knowledge of construction methods

5+ Years of experience in architecture or interior design practice and on path to eventual licensure

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Flexible disposition and cooperative, positive attitude, with a willingness to work on both team and individual efforts

Seeks out opportunities to gain knowledge (exhibits initiative) and accepts new responsibilities (is growing professionally)

Strong Revit, AutoCAD, 3D visualization/rendering, and Microsoft Office skills

LEED accreditation is a plus, and a commitment to become LEED-AP or WELL-AP accredited is required

Must be eligible to work in the US

Experience Level:

Mid to Expert Level
