If you are passionate about transforming communities with a mission-driven organization, then we have the opportunity for you!Reporting to the Director of Development, the Prospect Research Temp will support the fundraising goals of Global Refuge by working with the Prospect Research Analyst to provide accurate, comprehensive, and timely prospect research on donors and prospective donors for Global Refuge's leadership and development teams. This position will also support Business Development prospect research.Total hours per week are 15, and the contract concludes on December 31, 2024.Location: AL, AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MD, MI, MN, MS, NE, NJ, NM, NY, NC, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, D.C., WI (Candidate must be based in any of these states).Global Refuge, formerly known as Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS), is a nonprofit serving newcomers seeking safety, support, and a share in the American dream. Conduct in-depth prospect research and create research profiles for front-line fundraisers.

Support the Prospect Research Analyst in responding to requests.

Support the Grants Coordinator in their research.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in prospect research or fundraising with nonprofits.

Ability to use databases and software such as Salesforce, WealthEngine, and LexisNexis.

Excellent organization and analytical skills, responsiveness, and attention to detail.

Professional and friendly demeanor.
