Description My client, a national industry leader, is currently looking for a senior accountant as the result of an internal promotion. This position is part of the corporate accounting team and works with and presents to the executive team, operations and other finance and accounting teams internally. You will be responsible for interacting with and presenting financial results to people at all different levels so communication skills are very important. This is a great position if you have the ability to be detail oriented and research new issues independently. This position opens numerous doors internally for promotion and offers excellent benefits beyond the mostly remote schedule. Candidates should live within 2 hours of Baltimore and be willing to come into the office for team meetings. Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience in the accounting field
MBA and CPA preferred but not required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Experience working for a large public accounting firm or large corporate employer preferred
