Resp & QualificationsPURPOSE:The Analyst, Strategy & Planning Sr primarily supports Business Consulting Group consultants in the conduct of strategy-phase projects aligned to CareFirst's corporate goals. Position will interact frequently with and support senior and executive leadership.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Strategy consulting: conducts discrete quantitative and qualitative analyses, contributing to project storyline. Presents specific analysis clearly and concisely supported by clear, concise, compelling written comms and individual slides, charts. Proactively seeks to understand workstream goals and how own work fits within broader project. Cultivates understanding of health care sector and CareFirst business

Planning: Support, as needed, ad hoc and ongoing Corporate Strategy activities related to quarterly business review, annual planning (corporate or division), among other

Executive Leadership Team (ELT) & Board: Support, as needed, ad hoc and ongoing activities, including: periodic creation of points of view on strategic topics; deck creation; offsite facilitation, among others.

QUALIFICATIONS:Education Level: Bachelor's Degree OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.Experience: 5 years.Preferred Qualifications :

MBA, MPH, or MS with an emphasis in a quantitative and analytical discipline (e.g., Finance, Economics, Mathematics) preferred.

Understanding of healthcare marketplace dynamics and healthcare financial and operational reporting.
