In this role, you will plan, direct, and coordinate client-facing IT projects delivering firewall, data center and network infrastructure solutions for clients in the Baltimore/DC metro area.  Your first engagement will be with a well respected Baltimore area client.  While most of the time you will be remote, you should be able to commute on an as needed basis to the Baltimore location, so we cannot consider candidates outside the DC/MD/VA metro region.The Project Manager ensures objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time and budget parameters. You will be responsible for completing projects under or on budget and on schedule. You will lead multiple projects and teams, and work with different project sponsors in large corporate environments with notable governance and defined procedures.    RESPONSIBILITIES Achieve customer satisfaction through successfully delivering defined project scope and managing budget, risk, and schedule. Day-to-day management of the administrative portions of project delivery from inception to closeout, including coordinating meetings, developing agendas, documenting meeting minutes, developing regular status reports, and tracking action items and risks Accurately forecast resources and project budget, reviewing actuals and remaining funds against forecast. Develop and maintain project schedules.  A critical component of this role is the ability to multi-task, maintain proactive and efficient communication, and escalate critical issues. Coordinate/communicate escalations across internal teams and with the client. Collaborate with business units, application owners, and technical teams to coordinate change windows. Works in partnership with the technical leads and the Regional Manager to whom they report to address and mitigate project risks and challenges proactively.  Support change windows during evening hours (as needed) Review and improve processes in project delivery
