Thrivas Staffing Agency Pre-school is currently hiring a Front Desk Receptionist. This is a full time position Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. The position is a temporary opportunity that is expected to last 6-8 weeks. The school is hoping to hire immediately. Paid training is offered. The starting pay is up to $18 per hour, depending on experience.The position is ideal for an individual who is currently working towards a degree as a paraprofessional or has completed the program. The school will consider applicants who do not have experience working in a school but have previously worked as a front desk receptionist. To succeed in this role you must have basic computer skills, love working with children and have a great attitude.The receptionist is responsible for answering incoming calls, answering questions about the school and scheduling appointments for new parents to view the facility. You will also greet families as they arrive for drop off, greet each student by name and familiarize yourself with the check-in and check-out safety procedures. As the receptionist you will assist in creating new student records, updating records, typing memos, forwarding documents to corporate and other administrative and clerical tasks.
