Eddie’s Candy & Gift Department is home to hundreds of sweet confections, a colorful array of flowers, made-in-Maryland coffees, teas, and goodies, and an expansive selection of seasonal gifts, toys, and baskets. As a Candy/Floral Clerk at the North Charles Street store, your friendly, dependable, and customer-focused manner will help the Candy & Gift Department succeed in driving sales to the business and delivering smiles to its shoppers.
This is a flexible, part-time (24-32 hours per week) position in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction. Renowned for its superior selection and exceptional service, Eddie’s of Roland Park is an independent, family-owned grocery destination that has served the greater Baltimore community for more than 75 years.
Candy/Floral Clerk responsibilities include:
Greeting and offering/providing customer assistance;
Gaining expert knowledge of products, services and seasonal offerings;
Offering helpful/proactive shopping assistance and suggestive selling;
Assisting in the creation and production of gift baskets, custom orders, and engaging/effective merchandising displays;
Producing floral arrangements and floral/gift wrapping;
Fulfilling orders and providing ordering assistance (including phone/web inquiries);
Preparing café menu beverages;
Replenishing stock and product integrity;
Ensuring a clean, organized, and attractive shopping experience, as directed;
Accurately and efficiently running a cash register as needed.
