Responsibilities:
Menu Preparation:
Prepare full American breakfast options, including classic dishes such as pancakes, omelets, and breakfast platters.
Create flavorful Middle Eastern, Pakistani, Indian, and American-inspired lunch and dinner dishes.
Halal Compliance:
Ensure all food preparation and ingredients meet halal dietary restrictions, including strict avoidance of pork and alcohol.
Maintain a clean, organized, and halal-compliant kitchen environment.
Culinary Expertise:
Develop recipes and contribute to menu innovation.
Master the preparation of diverse cuisines with a focus on authentic flavors and techniques.
Kitchen Operations:
Oversee food quality, presentation, and consistency.
Manage inventory, including ordering and storing halal-certified ingredients.
Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a chef or cook in a professional kitchen.
Knowledgeable about halal dietary laws and passionate about cooking halal meals.
Expertise in Middle Eastern, Pakistani, Indian, and American cuisines is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Flexibility to work morning or evening shifts, including weekends.
