GENERAL DUTIES AND JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Front of House Manager, you are responsible for all happenings in the restaurant. You must communicate clearly and regularly with the kitchen as well as keep constant eyes on the floor. You will hold regular pre-shifts with the staff for both AM/PM shifts, update menus on paper as well as digitally, manage FOH schedule, bring deposits to the bank, control and set ambiance of restaurant, manage any service issues, guest related problems, monitor hours of staff to control overtime, etc.

You must be able to handle stressful situations, be personable, friendly, professional, as well as possess strong leadership skills.

Knowledge of Restaurant Manager POS software, Toast POS software, and Gather Event Software is a plus but is not required.

You must have 2+ years management experience in a full service restaurant.

You must have held a position where you have been responsible for and handled money.

You must be able to pass a full background check upon request.

You must have open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays. We are closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Years Day.

There are two restaurant locations. One in Columbia and one in Olney so there is an option for either location which can be discussed in more detail upon your interview.
