We are looking for a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team. You’ll work closely with our Executive Chef to lead kitchen operations, uphold high culinary standards, and ensure authentic execution of traditional Greek and Mediterranean dishes.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and oversee high-quality Greek & Mediterranean dishes (souvlaki, grilled octopus, moussaka, spanakopita, baklava, etc.)
Supervise and train kitchen staff during service
Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and plating
Support with daily prep, service execution, and kitchen station management
Enforce kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards
Assist with inventory, ordering, and waste control
Collaborate on seasonal specials and catering/event menus
Qualifications:
2+ years experience as a Sous Chef or senior line cook (Mediterranean/Greek cuisine strongly preferred)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Deep understanding of culinary techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations
Passion for Mediterranean flavors, ingredients, and culture
Culinary degree or equivalent hands-on experience
