Responsibilities:
Producing birthday, wedding and other specialty cakes and desserts using creative techniques and drawing skills with a variety of tools and ingredients. Preparing cake batters, fillings, icings, and other necessary cake components. Sculpting cakes into intricate shapes and forms, working with fondant and other decorating products. Assist customers with designing high-end custom bakery orders such as wedding cakes and bakery items for party favors. Ensure all food products are consistently prepared according to company recipes, portioning, cooking, and appearance standards. Maintaining the highest level of kitchen cleanliness and organization.
Qualifications:
2+ years’ experience in decorating high end cakes and preparing gourmet desserts.
Possess creative techniques and skills preparing gourmet desserts and custom-made cakes for weddings and special occasions.
Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent customer service skills.
Communicating via email.
Work Schedule: 5-day work week, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM. Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday.
Salary range: $18.00-$21.00 / hour + overtime. Benefits: health / dental / vision, 401(K) after 1-year, paid vacation, voluntary life insurance, short/long term disability.
